The short version
Yako is a fresh, perishable food product, so for food-safety reasons we can't accept returns of opened or used packs. But you're covered two ways: unopened packs are returnable within 2 days, and anything that arrives damaged, wrong, or spoiled gets put right at no cost to you.
Changed your mind? (unopened packs)
You can return any unopened, sealed, undamaged pack within 2 days of delivery, in its original packaging. Email hello@yako.lk to start a return first - items sent back without an approved return can't be accepted.
For change-of-mind returns, return postage is the customer's responsibility. Once we receive and inspect the pack, we'll refund it (see Refunds below).
Damaged, wrong, or spoiled on arrival
Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If a pack is damaged, leaking, the wrong item, or spoiled, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@yako.lk with your order number and a quick photo. We'll review it and either replace it or refund it - your choice - at no cost to you.
What we can't take back
For food-safety and hygiene reasons, we can't accept:
- Opened or part-used packs
- Packs past their best-before date
- Sale or clearance items
- Gift cards

Refunds
Once your return or claim is approved, we'll refund you to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a little longer to post it.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you still haven't seen it, email hello@yako.lk and we'll chase it down.
Exchanges
The fastest way to swap a size or flavour is to return the original (once approved) and place a new order for what you'd like.
